Ritual of Submission and Trust (Tawakkul)

This ritual is designed to release burdens from the heart, leave matters to the Creator, and strengthen the consciousness of surrender. It involves setting an intention for tawakkul, reciting Surah Al-Mumtahanah verse 4 eleven times, and concluding with a prayer of submission.

Intention for Tawakkul and Submission

Retreat to a quiet corner, take a deep breath, and make the intention from the heart:

"O Allah; I entrust all my affairs to You and surrender my will to Your will. Calm the anxieties in my heart and grant me a true consciousness of tawakkul. I trust only in You and seek help only from You. Do not leave me to myself, and bring my affairs to the best possible outcome."

Surah Al-Mumtahanah, Verse 4 (11 times)

رَبَّنَا عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ

Transliteration

Rabbena aleyke tevekkelna ve ileyke enebna ve ileykel-masir

Meaning

Our Lord, upon You we have relied, and to You we have returned, and to You is the destination
