Intention for Mercy and Purification

Take a deep, slow breath, focus on your heart, and make your intention:

"O Allah; I seek refuge in Your infinite mercy and forgiveness from the fears that occupy my mind, the anxieties that weigh heavily upon my soul, the regrets brought by my mistakes, and the punishment of the Hereafter. Quiet the unrest within me, and grant safety and relief to my heart. Protect me and my loved ones from hardships, distress, and punishment both in this world and in the Hereafter."

Surah Al-Furqan, Verse 65 (7 times)

Arabic

رَبَّنَا اصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا

Transliteration

Rabbenesrif 'annâ 'azâbe cehenneme inne 'azâbehâ kâne ġarâmâ.

Meaning

"Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell. Indeed, its punishment is ever adhering."

Seal of Mercy and Tranquility

"My Lord; Your mercy is greater than Your wrath. Send down sakinah (inner peace) upon my heart, and liberate my soul from the bondage of fears and anxieties. Encompass me with Your forgiveness, and relieve me with Your grace. I am in Your secure sanctuary. All thanks and praise belong to Allah."
