Begin Eid morning by performing ghusl, wearing clean clothes, and making your intention with family or on the way to prayer. Glorify Allah by reciting the Takbir and offering supplications in gratitude for completing Ramadan.
Eid Morning Intention
Perform ghusl on Eid morning and put on clean clothes; make your intention on the way to Eid prayer or at home with your family:
"O Allah, I praise You for granting us the completion of Ramadan. Make this Eid an occasion of joy, peace, and blessing for us, our families, and all Muslims."
Surah Al-Baqarah Verse 185 — Takbir and Gratitude
شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ فِيهِ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ هُدًۭى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَٰتٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ وَٱلْفُرْقَانِ ۚ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ ٱلشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ ۖ وَمَن كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍۢ فَعِدَّةٌۭ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ ۗ يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ بِكُمُ ٱلْيُسْرَ وَلَا يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ ٱلْعُسْرَ وَلِتُكْمِلُوا۟ ٱلْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَىٰكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ ﴿١٨٥﴾

Arabic
اللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ اللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَاللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ اللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلِلّٰهِ الْحَمْدُ
Transliteration
Allâhu ekber Allâhu ekber, lâ ilâhe illallâhu vallâhu ekber, Allâhu ekber ve lillâhil-hamd.
Meaning
Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest. There is no deity except Allah. Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest, and to Allah belongs all praise.

Eid Supplication
"My Lord, make this Eid an occasion when the estranged reconcile, hearts unite, and orphans rejoice. Grant us the grace to carry the good deeds gained in Ramadan throughout the entire year. Convey us to many more Eids in faith. Ameen."
